The newly refurbished bathroom has a power shower over a roll-top bath and piles of fluffy towels and animal-free locally made soap. There is a choice of a cotton, breathable duvet or cotton sheets and blankets on request.

Also available are drying facilities for your walking boots and wet weather gear, and secure storage for your bikes. The room has tea making facilities and a radio and there is a small library of paperbacks and local history books.

Breakfast is taken in the dining room - by the wood burner in the winter!

No smoking is allowed anywhere in the house.
